Pursuing a Master of International and Development Economics (MIDEC) at the renowned Crawford School of Public Policy, Australian National University (ANU), Zaw thrives in fast-paced environments, consistently excelling even under demanding circumstances.

Zaw's commitment to giving back extends to her volunteer experiences. Serving as President of the ANU Myanmar Students Association (ANUMSA), she creates unity and a sense of belonging.
Zaw's dedication to giving back shines through her role as a MIDEC Student Representative. Beyond advocating for student welfare, she promotes open dialogue and collaboration, enriching the academic environment. Her role as a mentor for new ANU students reflects her commitment to easing transitions and fostering a strong sense of belonging.

In the realm of economics, she's made substantive contributions, notably facilitating trade and investment as a Private Sector Manager for USAID project, and collaborating as a National Project Adviser for the United Nations Trade Program.

Zaw earned the prestigious Australia Awards Scholarship for her ANU master's studies and was honoured with fellowships from the Robert R. Nathan Foundation (2014) and the Mekong Institute- New Zealand Ambassador’s Fellowship (2015) for exceptional contributions.
