Sandi Auung Moe, President of the ANU Myanmar Student Association (ANUMSA), is a Master of Environment student at the Fenner School of Environment and Society, Australian National University (ANU). Her focus on climate change and environmental impact assessment reflects her deep commitment to addressing critical global challenges. As a president of ANUMSA, Sandi is committed to fostering an environment of diversity, inclusion, and unity, aiming to create a vibrant community where Myanmar students can thrive academically and culturally while contributing to the rich tapestry of ANU life. Her commitment is strengthened by her diverse background in academics, professional work, and cultural engagement. Her dedication to promoting cross-cultural understanding is evident by her previous experience as a Liaison Officer for ASEAN Meetings. Sandi's professional background includes working as an environmental and social consultant where she worked on numerous development projects in Myanmar, conducting environmental and social impact assessments, and leading stakeholder engagement initiatives. Her expertise and dedication in this field were recognized with the prestigious ERM Global Recognition Award in 2020. Sandi academic achievements include the prestigious Australia Awards Scholarship in 2023 for her current master's studies at ANU, and the Mitsubishi Scholarship during her Bachelor of Agricultural Science program.
