Research Interest

I continue to research the drinking societies of Southeast Asia when I can, in-between full-time editing responsibilities and Myanmar-related political work. I'm interested in coming to a fuller understanding of the traditional beliefs and practices related to intoxicants in Asia and pushing for fairer and more beneficial regulation for individuals and societies.

Expertise Area(s)
